Like any other successful relationship, the one with your dog requires balance, boundaries, consistency, and crystal-clear communication.

About the Trainer

Oriana Barros, CCDT has been coaching pups to be the best versions of themselves since 2015. After learning the ropes from Babette Haggerty, daughter of the legendary dog trainer “Captain" Arthur Haggerty, Oriana began training full time in Midland Park, NJ in 2016. For three years, she worked with hundreds of dogs and their humans, teaching basic obedience, advanced off-leash skills, trick training, and fun-filled canine enrichment.

In 2019, she spread her wings and flew to northeastern Florida, honing her skills at K9s for Warriors in Ponte Vedra. There, Oriana trained dozens of service dogs to perform

tasks for veterans with PTSD, making a positive impact on both the pups and their warriors' lives.

Fast-forward to 2023, and Oriana's dedication to dogs has earned her a Professional Dog Trainer certification from CATCH Academy (CCDT). Now based in Southern VT, she shares her home with her boyfriend and their three dogs, and offers training services throughout Southern VT, and parts of NH and MA.
